Bardos Winery
Take time to taste a glass of life
In the toughest and coldest area of Ribera del Duero, at more than 940 meters above sea level, between the villages of Fuentemolinos and Moradillo de Roa, a collection of wines has taken shape in honor of all the men and women who dedicate their lives to the vineyard.
El Páramo de Corcos is the most surprising and lesser known region of Ribera, ten thousand hectares of flat landscape, where only the bravest know how to work the land in extreme conditions throughout the year. They are the authentic wine Bards.
Here, only the strongest vineyards are able to survive extremely dry summers and endless long, severe winters, to offer us the most desired grape of the entire denomination. The grapes used at Bodegas Bardos to prepare a collection of elegant, very fresh wines with smooth tannins.
The Bardos social Project
The Bardos Project is an initiative in collaboration with Fademur, the Federation of Rural Women’s Associations, aimed at supporting female entrepreneurship in rural areas and helping to combat depopulation. Each year, we fund a new project that encourages innovation, creates jobs, and revives traditional practices. Our goal is to provide financial support to women working to keep rural communities thriving and to preserve the rich heritage and culture of our villages.
