Vineyard
Selection of the best grapes, that come from very old vineyards of extremely limited production, more than 100 years old and cultivated naturally. Sandy soils with high granitic stony component.
Harvest
Manual harvest between September 24 and October 11, using boxes and small trailers.
Winemaking
Maceration during 2 weeks. Spontaneous fermentation in 15,000 kg concrete tanks with native yeast. The malolactic fermentation takes place in these same tanks. Soft filtering and non-aggressive clarify to preserve its natural characteristics.

100% Tinta de Toro.
Alcohol content
15% Vol.
Aging
14 months in new French oak barrels.

Colour
Deep cherry with violet edges.
Nose
Very intense and complex. The combination of juicy ripe black fruits, spices, nuts and maturity gives sheer pleasure.
Palate
Serious wine with velvety texture, lots of structure, great backbone and serious tannic grip. Long and persistent aftertaste.
