Hacienda López de Haro recognised by Vinous

Wine critic Joaquín Hidalgo, responsible for Spanish wines at Vinous, has published his latest reviews in The Rioja Renaissance (April 2026), an article in which he analyses the recent evolution of the D.O.Ca. Rioja. Three wines from Hacienda López de Haro have received outstanding scores in the report.

Hacienda López de Haro Blanco Badarán 2025: 90+ points
“White fruit aromas lead the nose, with a touch of tropical nuance and green apple perfume. Dry and moderately weighted, the palate is straightforward, with an intense, fruit-driven finish. The naturally high freshness of Badarán lifts the wine.”

Hacienda López de Haro San Vicente de la Sonsierra 2023: 90 points
“Herbal notes frame the black fruit on the nose, with spice accents. Dry and medium-structured, the palate features reactive tannins and slightly soft alcohol, while fruit energy helps maintain balance.”

Hacienda López de Haro Reserva 2019: 91 points
“Plum, balsamic notes, licorice and forest floor define the aromatics. Moderately structured, the palate shows integrated fruit and tannins, with a degree of richness smoothed by oak.”
