ogue magazine knows only too well that it's not every day you reach 30. That's why on July 12 they celebrated their three decades in Spain in a big way, with a party that will probably be remembered in Madrid for another 30 years.
And as at any self-respecting mega-party, mega-wines are a must, guess which ones? Indeed, at Vogue, always with an eye on the trends, they focused on Vintae's wines for their big day. The reason being is that our wines have a lot in common with the magazine and the world of fashion: they are contemporary, elegant, trendsetting and are beautiful on the outside, as well as being premium quality.
The setting chosen was the terrace of Casa de Velázquez, where a spectacular sunset in the background awaited us. Upon arrival, nothing was more enticing than a LIbalis, if you like fruity wine, or a fresh Haro Blanco Lopez if you go for drier whites. As the night progressed, and the atmosphere chilled, the guests moved onto the red and tasted our new wine, Hacienda López de Haro Edición Limitada, a very special Tempranillo and Mazuelo Rioja.
The first performance of the night was by Rosalía, the singer of the moment thanks to her hit "Malamente". Later, at the climax of the evening, it was the star of the party, a very friendly Kylie Minogue who sang "Happy Birthday" in Spanish and went on to surprise later with her famous "Can't get you out of my head", surrounded by red balloons and with a giant cake, whose size matched that of the celebration.
This was the last party of the season before everyone fled the heat of Madrid for their summer retreats. Maybe that, and especially because of the immense drawing power of a magazine like Vogue, nobody missed the celebration of its first thirty years. National and international models such as Karlie Kloss, Irina Shayk, Eugenia Silva, Nieves Álvarez, Judith Mascó, Jon Kortajarena, Andrés Valencoso or Blanca Padilla; actors such as Adrien Brody, Úrsula Corberó, Leonor Watling, Rossy de Palma, our beloved Paco León, Marta Hazas, Andrea Duro, Maxi Iglesias or Álex García; designers like Manolo Blanhik, Carolina Herrera Báez, Palomo Spain or María Escoté, sportsmen like Feliciano López or Garbiñe Muguruza, singers like Delapurissima, Rosalía, Sharon Corr or the great star of the night, Kylie Minogue... in short, it was the greatest concentration of National and international celebrities that have been seen in a long time, and everyone had the opportunity to taste Vintae wines.
Our colleagues Raquel Viejo, responsible for Communication and Nacho Fernández, creative director, were in charge of representing the Vintae team at this event and toasting to the 30 years of Vogue. Looking forward to its 40th to start celebrating again. Although, why wait? Why not celebrate the 31st? Leave the wine to us.
