Hacienda Lopez de Haro, exceptional ‘grandes reservas’ for Tim Atkin MW

The philosophy of Hacienda López de Haro winery has always revolved around crafting contemporary classics, rooted in the historical style of fine wines from our region, a profile that is particularly well-reflected in our Grand Reservas.

This is evident in Tim Atkin MW's Rioja Report 2024, where our Grand Reservas have garnered excellent scores from arguably the critic with the deepest knowledge of Rioja. The Classica collection leads the scores of our Sonsierra winery. Classica Gran Reserva Tinto 2005 achieves the highest rating with 95 points. Classica Gran Reserva Blanco 2012 scores 94 points, and Classica Gran Reserva Rosado 2012 is rated by Atkin with 93 points.

Meanwhile, the Hacienda López de Haro collection also achieves magnificent ratings for its range. Atkin awards 92 points to the newly released Hacienda López de Haro Reserva Blanco 2018, and 90 points to Hacienda López de Haro Gran Reserva 2015.
