Classica wines from Hacienda López de Haro continue to shine
Three top-scoring wines recognized by the IWSC awards panel
The International Wine and Spirits Competition stands as one of the oldest and most prestigious wine competitions in the world. Established in 1969, the competition boasts an esteemed panel primarily comprised of Masters of Wine and industry experts.
In the latest round of this prestigious competition, just announced, three wines from Hacienda López de Haro's Grand Reserves collection have once again impressed the judges, earning outstanding scores. Classica Gran Reserva Rosado 2012 was awarded 95 points, Classica Gran Reserva Tinto 2005 received 93 points, and Classica Gran Reserva Blanco 2014, set to be released soon, achieved a score of 92 points.
These outstanding scores add to the list of extraordinary results for the Classica collection in major international competitions. All its references and vintages consistently rank among the world's best wines in competitions such as the Decanter World Wine Awards or lists like Master of Wine Elizabeth Gabay's Best Rosés in the World. This time, the IWSC judges praised its contemporary classicism, as Classica represents Hacienda López de Haro's tribute to the fine wines that placed Rioja on the world stage.
