91 points and Best Buy for Hacienda López de Haro Reserva 2017 in Wine Enthusiast Magazine

The wines of Hacienda López de Haro continue to be positioned among the great critics worldwide and this time it has been Hacienda López de Haro Reserva 2017 that has achieved an excellent score in one of the major wine publications in the US.

The November issue of Wine Enthusiast publishes the review by Mike DeSimone, the magazine's Spanish wine taster, who gives it 91 points in addition to recommending it as “Best Buy”, recommending it as a great choice for its readers.

In his review, Mike DeSimone describes the wine like this: "Aromas of cassis, black tea and a touch of earth waft from the glass. An earthy note transitions to the palate, joined by purple plum, red cassis, caramel and summer farm stand flavors set into stiff tannins that dawdle into a chewy finish."

Hacienda López de Haro Reserva is an elegant Rioja classic, powerful, balanced and round. It is made with Tempranillo and Graciano grown in Sonsierra and spends 20 months in French and American oak barrels.
