The prestigious British critic Tim Atkin MW has published his highly anticipated Rioja Report 2025, one of the most detailed reports on DOCa Rioja, in which Vintae's projects have received exceptional recognition. Viñedos El Pacto rises in his winery ranking, Hacienda López de Haro’s Classica collection reaffirms its excellence in long aging, and Pandemonium is crowned as the "Discovery of the Year" in sparkling wines. These achievements confirm the maturity, collective effort, and constant pursuit of excellence by the Vintae team, consolidating it as one of the most dynamic and innovative wine companies in Rioja.

A rising trajectory in Rioja: Viñedos El Pacto
Viñedos El Pacto continues to climb the ranks in Tim Atkin’s Bordeaux-style winery classification, reaching the Second Growths tier this year and further strengthening its reputation in Rioja. Moreover, three of its wines have been selected among the Wines of the Year, each earning 95 points: Valdechuecas Viñedo Singular 2022, Jesús Acha Blanco 2018, and El Pacto de Cárdenas Ojo Gallo 2023. These accolades reaffirm its commitment to vineyard identity and Rioja’s winemaking heritage. This advancement is the result of teamwork and a winemaking philosophy that prioritizes authenticity and respect for terroir.
Classica Gran Reserva Rosado 2013: Best Rosé of the Year
Hacienda López de Haro continues to garner success with its Classica collection. In this edition of the Rioja Report, Classica Gran Reserva Rosado 2013 has been recognized as the Best Rosé Wine of the Year, a distinction that highlights the exceptional nature of this wine, one of the few Gran Reserva rosés from Rioja. Atkin describes it as "subtle, complex, gastronomic, and mature," praising its aging potential with a score of 94 points. Additionally, Classica Gran Reserva Blanco 2014 also received 94 points, reaffirming the uniqueness and quality of this collection, inspired by the historical tradition of great Rioja wines.
Pandemonium, the great discovery in sparkling wines
The Pandemonium project has made a strong debut in the Rioja Report 2025, earning the title of Discovery of the Year in Sparkling Wines for its Pandemonium Blanco de Blancas 2020, which received a rating of 94 points. The project’s other wine, Pandemonium Blanco de Tintas 2020, achieved 93 points, solidifying Vintae’s commitment to innovation in high-altitude sparkling wine production in the Sierra de la Demanda. Additionally, Pandemonium was directly ranked in Atkin’s Second Growths category, confirming its rising status within the Rioja landscape. This success reflects the innovative spirit that defines Vintae.
